        Full-Stack Development / QA Internship

        Alif Invest · Alif Crowd

        QA of the Alif Crowd crowdfunding platform, from the public website to the admin back office: functional, performance, SEO and security testing, with automated end-to-end tests.

        What I tested

        • Functional tests of the main user journeys (sign-up, investor and project-owner flows) and checks that the frontend and backend data stayed consistent
        • Automated end-to-end tests of key journeys with Playwright
        • Performance audits with Lighthouse and GTmetrix, and SEO crawls with Screaming Frog
        • Security scans with OWASP ZAP, and stack checks with Wappalyzer and DevTools

        What I learned

        • Writing clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, then retesting each fix
        • Working in sprints and tracking defects and tasks on a Trello board
        • Looking at a product from the user's side: speed, findability and security, not only features

        Freelance Full-Stack Developer (Laravel)

        Freelance full-stack work on the company's live sourcing platform, from the client portal to the admin back office and its integrations.

        What I worked on

        • Client portal and admin back office for the full sourcing workflow: requests, quotations, orders, refunds and shipping fees
        • Order tracking from China to delivery: carrier tracking automated with Selenium, synced to Google and Lark Sheets
        • Trilingual Blade and Livewire interfaces (English, French, Arabic) with email and push notifications
        • Business rules in Laravel: validation, status workflows, queued jobs and scheduled commands

        What I learned

        • Working in a live production codebase used by real clients
        • Modelling a multi-step business workflow, from request to quotation to order to delivery
        • Integrating third-party services: tracking APIs, spreadsheets, push notifications and image hosting

        Built Folio Studio, a dynamic portfolio builder for the school's students: they enter their content once and pick one of five designs.

        What I built

        • A dashboard where each student manages projects, skills, experience and education, with image uploads
        • Five portfolio templates (Forma, Noir, Editorial, Studio, Terminal) rendered from the same content, with a live preview before switching
        • Accounts with per-student access: each student only sees and edits their own content, with validation on every form

        What I learned

        • Separating content from presentation so one data model can feed several designs
        • Designing a relational database and building a full Laravel MVC app from routes to views
        • Building a real tool for real users, from their needs to a working product
